HIGH TENSION (HT) SWITCHGEAR:
Our in house made metal-clad fixed/draw out HT switchgear is a complete power distribution device for 11KV, 3 phase AC 50Hz, and sectionalized system.
General Construction:
- Our team focused on Modular and compact design ensures ease of operation with a proven motorized spring operated mechanism, low cost maintenance and higher durability.
- The panels are fully compartmentalized and accessible on both sides.
- Fixed type or draw-out type (Depends on clients demand).
- On load alarm and tripping system for fault condition to protect whole operational equipment.

HT Switchgear-Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB)
Eminent Erection or Eminent Engineering offers 12 KV indoor vacuum switchgear using vacuum circuit breakers (VCB).
VCBs are available at rated voltages of 6.6 to 36 kV, with rated short-circuit breaking capacities from 25 to 40 kA. The most effective ways of interrupting an arc circuit is to contact in the medium of Vacuum where, the electric arc starts at the moment of contact separation and is maintained until zero current and can be influenced by magnetic fields.
This type of breaker does not require an interrupting and insulating medium or no need to contain any joinable material. Rapid reduction in the current charge and rapid condensation of the metal vapors simultaneously with the zero current, allows maximum dielectric strength to be restored between the interrupter contacts within microseconds.
In general, we use VD4 series of ABB or EVOLIS series of Schneider Electric depends on client’s requirements.
HT Switchgear -Load Break Switch (LBS)
Eminent Erection or Eminent Engineering offers Load Break Switch or LBS, which is generally used for Low voltage (11kV) system up to 400kVA sub-station. Basic mechanism of LBS is done through HRC fuse for over current protection and available amperage is 630A. For measuring system current and voltage this panel consists of 3 Numbers of CT (Current transformer) and 3 Numbers of PT (Potential transformer).
Silent Features
- HIGH RELIABILITY: Testing is performed by an independent testing team. Fully Insulated Design and all the operations are behind the closed doors. All components, such as current transformers, voltage transformers and multifunction relays are made of the highest quality materials. Our new generation design has reduced the number of parts, which reduces the chance of failure.
- SAFETY: Compartment partitions and an automatic shutter system completely isolate live parts. Comprehensive interlocking mechanisms are used for Safe Operations. MAX VCBs are designed to withstand the huge pressure and burning effect of the arc to withstand in the event of an internal arc fault.
- HIGH PROTECTION: Specially designed Multiple Protection Relays are installed to provide protection, measurement, and communications and control functionality.
- FLEXIBLE DESIGN FOR EASY INSTALLATION: Flexible features like readily extensible, Panels with main circuit and control cable entry from either the top or bottom are available for easy installation. Installation and testing duration are considerably reduced as the panel is tested in the factory and then delivered as a complete unit.
